Insensys (Integrated Sensing Systems) is a privately owned global leading supplier of fibre optic measurement systems. We supply strain measurement systems to many leading Wind Turbine manufacturers, as well as customising core technology for applications in Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Marine and other markets. Summary of Role:
A key member of the Production Engineering team, specialising in leading and supporting Production & Testing across sites. A hands-on role, designing, building, commissioning & repairing our production systems.

• Investigate production, process & test issues, proposing solutions & providing technical support and training
• Investigate customer warranty returns in a timely manner and provide technical documentation and reports
• Development and maintenance of shop floor software systems
• Adhoc & routine maintenance of equipment & testing facilities
• Identify equipment & testing requirements for new and existing products
• Design jigs/fixtures, tooling, and new systems to support the cost-effective integration of new products and the improvement of existing ones
• Maintenance of engineering data (Parts Management, BoMs, specifications, test requirements etc.)
• Responsible for interface with the engineering and sales teams to ensure all product and test system data is correct ahead of manufacture
• Generate production documentation such as assembly instructions, knowledge bases & flowcharts.
• Provide training to technicians and other staff as necessary

• Relevant degree in Electronics
• Experience of electronic components, systems, design, software, firmware.
• Experience of SQL databases
• Experience of LabVIEW (ideal)/other programming languages
• Ability to independently determine best approach to assigned tasks and manage workload
• Understanding manufacturing processes, engineering, scientific and other technical information
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach, excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of Health and Safety practices
• Ability to train teams at all levels
